eLTER LOGIN user profile

WIP: Merge with User Registration and Initial LoginPreview

The eLTER LOGIN is the authentication and authorization infrastructure of the eLTER RI and allows the eLTER RI adminsitration staff to manage the identities and permissions for all users accessing the restricted areas of the eLTER Cyberinfrastructure components such as the eLTER Digital Asset Registry (DAR) upload backend or the eLTER Datalabs. As a user of the eLTER RI, you can manage your user profile and preferences, interconnect accounts from different institutions and providers, and adjust your privacy settings.

In order to manage user profiles and details eLTER LOGIN provides an user interface accessible via https://profile.aai.elter-ri.eu/.

User Registration and eLTER LOGIN Profile

1. Go to https://profile.aai.elter-ri.eu/. If this is your first time logging in, or if you have been logged out after a period of time, you will be asked to select your Identity Provider from the list of connected Home Institutions.

   Select your identity provider from the list of connected home institutions, or choose one of the alternatives, such as EGI, ORCID or Google.

   
   
   

2. Log in using your home institution's authentication mechanisms. The layout will depend on your home institution and should be familiar to you.

3. Confirm your personal data submission to eLTER LOGIN.

4. The first time you log in, you will need to register your account with eLTER LOGIN. If you choose a different mail address, you may need to validate it with a separate confirmation mail.

5. Please confirm that you are happy for your personal data to be submitted to the eLTER LOGIN profile user interface.

You are now logged into the eLTER LOGIN profile user interface, where you can manage your profile and preferences, connect accounts from different institutions and providers, and adjust your privacy settings.

You have now successfully set up an account with eLTER LOGIN, which can also be used to log in to other cyberinfrastructure components of eLTER RI, such as eLTER DAR or eLTER Datalabs.
