Major results of the IC_01 meeting 10.12.2020

 eLTER Interim Council was established by 18 member countries participating in the meeting:

  • Austria

  • Bulgaria

  • Czech Republic

  • Finland

  • France

  • Germany

  • Greece

  • Israel

  • Italy

  • Latvia

  • Portugal

  • Romania

  • Slovakia

  • Slovenia

  • Spain

  • Sweden

  • Switzerland

  • United Kingdom

 Serbia and Poland also support eLTER RI politically, but have not nominated their delegations yet.

 

The IC approved:

  • eLTER IC Rules of Procedure

  • eLTER IC work plan for 2021-22

  • eLTER legal entity: ERIC, with one feedback pending: France is in the course of the related high level internal process with an ERIC suggested. The  result will be announced early next year.

 

Election of the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson:

The decision was to establish a team for recruiting candidates and prepare the election to take place in the IC_02, most likely in June  2021.

 

The  IC discussed and gave feedback to the eLTER RI Strategic Plan.

 

The eLTER PPP team informed the IC about

  • eLTER in general

  • Early successes from the EC eLTER projects

  • eLTER RI stakeholder specification and prioritization
